Once you start uploading patients to Florence, you will start to receive notifications to your email address to notify you that a patient has sent in a reading(s) that are out of range.
Using the example below, the messages which are highlighted in red will be a priority notification which means the patient has sent in a reading that is out of range. The messages highlighted in blue will be a trend met notification which means the patient has not been responding to the Oxygen SATS question.
These kinds of readings will trigger notifications to the clinician which will look like the below example, taken from a patient who sent in a respiratory rate of 6:
When you get an email like this, you can click the blue link in the email to go straight through to login to Florence, or you can login to your dashboard from https://my.florence-live.net/ and look at your notification list, an example you can see below:
You can click on the patients name and it will open the patients record to find out more. Once you are happy that the patient is okay to continue and that they have been dealt with you can then click on the clear notification button on the right, this will then clear the notification and add a time, date and name stamp on the patients record.
You can also see notifications within the “Patient Management” window, where the notification will appear in the bottom left hand corner like this:
